Although I am against this blog becoming my DA page (though it certainly attracts a similar amount of interest) I am occasionally going to post up a drawing or two.

No real inspiration, was practicing perspective.

I wanted to do something a bit more like a big brother poster, so I went and found this on Google.  Unfortunately, it was in two pieces, so I had to use my epic Photoshop skills to put it back together.

I LOVE the textures on this one, and I think I made a real breakthrough when I was making this.

The Beartrix: Reloaded

I recently discovered how awesome BEARS are.  So awesome, they have to be in all caps.

Anyway, I dunno.  Just a quickie I came up with when I was working on putting sunglasses on a BEAR.  It's funny!

I'm not hugely satisfied with how this came out, so... If I ever want to redo it, I left the original alone.  Maybe once I'm better.

Flaming Gorillas, Inc.

Today's logo is inspired by flaming apes on fire and the logo for Rare Exports.  I went with gorillas because they looked more impressive.  I'm not as pleased with the way this one turned out, so it's a bad one, but I wanted to add some space between propaganda-inspired posters.  One post, to be exact.

So, next post, something that's better than this!

This slightly offensive piece come from a number of inspirations.  For one, obviously, old Soviet propaganda, but my original idea (a zombie poster with the one piece of information you need for zombies to be zombies) came from The Zombie Hunter's new poster.

The text is Kremlin from over at DaFont, I really love it.

It's a simple poster.  But I like it.  Vignettes FTW!  Let's hope I can keep up with this thing, eh?

Thing a Day Introduction

So, as this is the beginning of the term for my college, and a new year, I decided, why not challenge the hell out of myself?

So, I've determined that I'm going to make one thing a day.

Trust me, it's a lot harder than it sounds.

This is a race for improvement of myself, I'm looking for speed and quality, and I think that just by doing this, I can get quite a bit of improvement.  Also, it can hopefully be a cure for my procrastination.

Many of the pictures will most likely be posters, as they are something that I can do rather quickly.  I will be scouring the internet for information and inspiration, so there may be some things that draw heavily from other sources.

Each thing will have an inspiration and original idea behind it.  While each new thing will have its own post, the main album will be kept here for those that want to catch up.

Now, let's get this sucker started.
